Hi blog, it's been a long time since I wrote anything here, and I have no video clips to offer nor soundbites to share, but I just wanted to share my thoughts about 2007.
2007 is a new year, a new begining, a heraldment of a new dawn, a fresh start for everyone. Whether you have exceled or not in whatever field you desire, whether sports or academice or personal development or what-have-you, in 2006, in 2007 we all start on a fresh slate. And a new beginning means new outlooks in life, and that to happen, we all need new insights into what it truly means to live. Just wanna share with you 3 scenes from various sources which have a significant impact on me:
1) Black Hawk Down: when Sgt Thomas (Josh Harnett) couldn't believe his Captain's orders to reorg and go back to the scene of fighting. His Captain's words were:
Thomas, everyone feels the same way as you, ok? It's what you do, right now, that makes a difference.
Indeed, it doesn't matter who you are, or what you stand for. It's what you do at this moment in time, however insignificant it may seem, that is the most important. Which leads me to the second scene:
2) Wedding Crashers: the final scene when John Beckwith ( Owen Wilson) revealed his true feelings for Claire at Jeremy's wedding:
(at the funeral which he had crashed) I see a widow, and she's a wreck. She just lost the love of her life, but not me, not now, because the one I love most, is standing right in front of me
Indeed, we often look back and wished we had shown more genuine concern for our loved ones, fathers, mothers, sisters, brothers, girlfriends, boyfriends, w/o realising many things are irreversible and it's often a case of too litttle, too late. And of course, this leads to the final scene:
3) Every scene in Love Actually: that love is, actually, all around.
The world needs a little more love from everyone, from Bush to Osama, from Usher to Jay Chou, from me to you.
BTW, did I mention that I love ALL OF U ? haha, LoL. wELL, tt's it from me, happy new year to you all! I love you. (God, how many times have I mentioned that???)

I guess everyone's moving from place to place all over the world. That's why the blog's so quiet...Aniwae, it's few more hours to the new year and while you guys are trying to come up with new year resolutions... here's one skill worth learning...(ok maybe it's a bit useless in real life)... if u thought learning how to twirl pens in sch was easy and playing super mario bros theme song on the piano was simple... check this out.

One more week of exams... Hold on there
As the snow flakes turn the once green appel fields into a white carpet, Singaporeans in Cornell are plagued by the endless exams...yeah. alrite. I'm here to remind everyone that there's only 1 week left to a long one and half month holiday!!! so hang in there.
for those who are sick of studying and happen to chance on this blog, here's the second installment of the christmas songs. First one's a jazz version of 'Oh Christmas Tree'(loved this one a lot) and the second's a rock version of 'Let it Snow'.
